On Thursday night, Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty followed up his Wednesday night victory of Event #3 in the partypoker US Network Online Series with a second consecutive win, taking down the $320 buy-in Event #4: $30K GTD PKO 6-Max for $9,223 ($4,039 in prizes + $5,184 in bounties).

The tournament drew 89 entries and paid nine places, with Hagerty taking a massive chip lead shortly after the 15-level late registration period came to a close, one he only briefly relinquished at the final table during four- and three-handed play to eventual runner-up Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo.

The tournament took nearly six hours to play to its completion, with roughly one-third of that time being amassed at the final table. Once Ryan "TheSims" Hohner was eliminated in seventh place ($724) on the final table bubble, over five 10-minute levels were played before "ndirish50" became the next to solidify their payday. Jon "jetsfan411" Borenstein also made it into the money, busting in ninth place ($516 + $562 in bounties) just after Anthony "supremetny" Chin re-shoved pocket fours into Lupo's pocket aces to finish in 10th place and burst the bubble.

Plenty more were involved in the action, only to fall short of the money. Ambassadors Katie "KatieStone" Stone and Daniel "leinad" Buzgon were among those, as were Eric "alwaysliquid" Vanauken, Ryan "whosyourdoddy" Dodd, and David "TheKing411" Coleman.

PokerNews coverage will continue on Friday for Event #7, a $215 buy-in $25K GTD NLH 6-Max at 8 p.m. ET. A full list of the remaining tournaments in the series has been provided below.

Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo Eliminated in 2nd Place ($4,035 + $994 in Bounties)

Daniel Lupo
Daniel Lupo

In Level 31 with blinds of 35,000/70,000 and an ante of 8,750, Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo opened to 140,000 on the button and Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty defended his big blind. The flop dropped {k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Hagerty check-called a continuation-bet of 108,000 from Lupo.

The turn came {10-Spades} and Hagerty check-called another 335,000, bringing the river {2-Clubs} where he checked for a third and final time. Lupo thought for a bit and then emptied the clip, jamming for just shy of 800,000, and Hagerty immediately called.

Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo: {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Both players had turned two pair, with Lupo's tens up falling prey to Hagerty's kings up to result in Hagerty amassing all of the chips in the tournament. Lupo's runner-up finish earned him $4,035 plus another $994 in bounties, totaling $5,029 for his efforts.

Meanwhile, Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty has won his second event of the series in as many nights, this time earning $9,223 total for his victory. Stay tuned for a recap of the action.

Lupo Right Back In It

Hand #1: In Level 30 with blinds of 30,000/60,000 and an ante of 7,500, Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty jammed on the button and Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo called all in for 606,000 in the big blind.

Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty: {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}

The runout {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs} changed nothing and Lupo earned the easy double to pull back over 1 million.

Hand #2: A couple of hands later, Lupo once again got his stack of 980,000 into the middle preflop on the button against Hagerty

Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Another easy double came as the board ran out {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, and just like that Lupo has pulled close to even with Hagerty.

Hagerty Pulls Away

In Level 30 with blinds of 30,000/60,000 and an ante of 7,500, a series of bets brought 1.1 million into the pot on a board of {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo bet 499,000 from the big blind. Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty was on the button and jammed over the top for another 651,000 effective, and Lupo thought for a few moments before letting his hand go.

With the pot, Hagerty now has a commanding lead with over 85% of the chips in play.

"dadadada" Eliminated in 3rd Place ($2,747 + $628 in Bounties)

In Level 30 with blinds of 30,000/60,000 and an ante of 7,500, Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty open-jammed in the small blind on the very hand after doubling to take the chip lead, putting "dadadada" all in for their stack of 700,000 and immediately receiving a call.

"dadadada": {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty: {j-Spades}{3-Spades}

A double seemed all but certain for "dadadada" after the flop {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}, but they were unable to fade running spades on the turn {6-Spades} and river {q-Spades}, resulting in Hagerty backing his way into a flush to eliminate "dadadada" in third place.

Greenstein Gives Hagerty The Chip Lead

Ryan Hagerty

In Level 30 with blinds of 30,000/60,000 and an ante of 7,500, Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo jammed in the small blind to put Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty all in for just under 1 million. Hagerty immediately called.

Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Hagerty found a sweaty flop of {2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, giving Lupo four extra outs to a gutshot. The turn {5-Clubs} pulled Lupo ahead, but the prettiest card in the deck {a-Spades} fell on the river to save Hagerty, not only earning him the double but also giving him the chip lead as three-handed play continues.

Hagerty Gets It Back

In Level 28 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and an ante of 5,000, all of the chips went into the middle preflop with Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty calling off his stack of 840,000 in the small blind against a jam from "dadadada", who was in the big blind.

Ryan "simlSgg" Hagerty: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}
"dadadada": {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Hagerty's ace was dominated by the two nines of his opponent, but he was saved on the flop {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Spades}. The turn {4-Diamonds} and river {6-Clubs} appeared behind to complete the runout and score him the double, taking him back to nearly 1.7 million and pulling roughly even with chip leader Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo
