The Lowest Pair Wins

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

After three initial limpers, Jeremy Flieder raised to 2,500 from the small blind and was called by the big blind player along with the limpers.

The {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop was checked to the {q-Diamonds} turn where Johnny L fired out 6,000 from early position.

Tony Chiarlanza mucked from the hijack along with Roberto Espinales from the cutoff. Action was on Flieder who called from the small blind while the big blind player mucked his hand.

Both players checked the {q-Spades} river and Flieder announced, "ace-high," but that was no good as L took down the pot with {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.
