The second of four Day 1 flights in the Parx Big Stax 300 is complete. Day 1b saw several players end the night with sizable stacks at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
Some of those big stacks include Tam Nguyen (462,000), William Corvino (460,000), Kevin Campbell (452,500), and William White (417,000)
Day 1b saw 393 total entries register in this unlimited re-entry event, and by the end of the night the field was trimmed down to 62 players. Those players will return Sunday for Day 2, along with the survivors of Day 1a, and the upcoming Day 1c and Day 1d flights.
The field played through 14 45-minute levels Thursday, and will now await the results of Day 1c and 1d. The night ended with the blinds at 1500/3000/3000, and a number of big stacks spread throughout the field.
Others in the field making it through the night include Shehryar Samson (403,500), Renata Colache (365,000), and Frank Williams (345,500).
Day 1c will commence Friday at 11 a.m. where the field will once again play through 14 levels.

The field will play four more hands, and after that Day 1b will come to an end.
With on the board, Cleiton Barbosa bet 15,000 from the small blind, and his early-position opponent went all in for 130,000.
Barbosa made the call.
Barbosa's flush was still not in the clear, with his opponent having plenty of river outs. The river came a harmless , however, and Barbosa is up over the 300k mark in the aftermath, while his opponent is out of chips.
Renata Colache opened to 6,000 from the hijack, the cutoff three-bet to 18,000, and Colache called.
Colache check-called a 12,500 bet on the flop. Both players then checked the turn.
Colache bet 35,000 on the river, the cutoff raised all in, having Colache covered, and Colache made the call, putting her last 30,000 in the pot.
The cutoff showed , but saw it was no good against Colache's , good for the broadway straight.
Ryan Jackson, on the button, and an opponent on the small blind got all of the chips in preflop, with Jackson having his opponent covered.
After scooping the pot, Jackson finds himself among the Day 1b chip leaders as the last level of the night approaches.
The under-the-gun player opened to 5,500, another early position player three-bet to 20,000, and Darius Studdard four-bet all in for 48,000.
The under-the-gun player folded, and the three-bettor called, having Studdard covered.
Studdard found a king on the flop, and the pair held through the runout, securing the double up.
