Huynh Takes Huge Pot

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

An early-position player went all in for his last 30,000 on a {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop.

Kenny Huynh called in the cutoff, and the small blind, who originally checked the flop, also called.

The small blind check-called a 50,000 bet from Huynh on the {5-Diamonds} turn, creating a side pot.

The small blind checked again on the {2-Diamonds} river, Huynh put out a quick bet for 40,000, and the small blind folded.

Huynh showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, scooping the pot and sending the early-position player to the exit.

With {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} on the board, the small blind bet 12,500, and Ray Ross raised to 44,500 from middle position. The small blind made the call.

An early-position player opened to 7,000, and Tascarella called on the direct left.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}, the early-position player bet 7,000, Tascarella raised to 20,000, and his opponent folded.

Giordano Makes Correct Call

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

With around 60,000 in the middle by the river, Jeffrey Giordano checked from the big blind.

His opponent in the cutoff bet 20,000 with the board showing {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. Giordano tanked for a few moments, then made the call.

The cutoff showed {a-Spades}{8-Spades}, and Giordano's {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} was the winner. Neither player had the flush, with four diamonds on the board, but Giordano's top pair was good against the attempted bluff.
