The Parx Big Stax 500 has hit the home stretch, with only one day of play left before a winner is crowned. Sunday's Day 2 flight saw a field that began with 407 players trimmed down to 42 by night's end, and those players will come back Monday for Day 3 and play down to a winner at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

With one day to go, it's Bosu Avunoori (4,270,000) in the chip lead. Others bagging big at the end of Day 2 include Joey Deforca (3,240,000), Nicholas Skyllas (2,405,000) and David Clarke (2,385,000).

The field played through 10 one-hour levels on Day 2. Play will resume at Level 25 Monday, with the blinds at 20000/40000/40000. The tournament will proceed with 90-minute levels on Day 3.

A total of 1496 entries came through for the Big Stax 500, and the money bubble burst Sunday, with 152 players getting paid.

The first-place prize of $126,995 is on the line as a champion will be crowned Monday. After four days of play in the Parx East building, the tournament will move over to the Parx Casino poker room for the final day.

Stay tuned to the PokerNews live blog as a champion is crowned Monday.
