Martin Mathis opened to 125,000 from the cutoff and the action folded to Philippe Plouffe who moved all in for 1.01 million from the small blind. Mathis made the call.

The flop gave Plouffe a stranglehold on the hand and only running straight cards would eliminate him. The on the turn gave Mathis a pair of kings and the on the river gave him trips, but they were no good against Plouffe's full house.
Plouffe doubled to 2.1 million chips while Mathis dropped to 1.3 million.
Sam Stein raised from the cutoff seat and Chris Moneymaker called from the big blind. The flop came down and Moneymaker checked. Stein fired 140,000 and Moneymaker called.
