Oh, You're From the Ukraine?

JC Alvarado was faced with a 7,700-chip bet with the board reading {9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, and about 10,000 laying in the middle. Alvarado went deep into the tank, and eventually called.

His opponent tabled {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flush, saying "I'm from the Ukraine."

Apparently Alvarado had asked him about his country of origin.

"Oh," Alvarado responded. "I would've folded."

The table broke into laughter, as the Ukrainian gentleman stacked Alvarado's chips.

"Donald" Doubles

Casey Kastle opened to 2,000 from middle position and Anders "Donald" Berg shoved on the button for 12,800. Action folded around to Kastle who after a few moments opted to call.

Kastle: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Berg: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Berg hit the flop hard as it came down {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}, leaving Kastle drawing very thin. The {5-Spades} turn locked it up for Berg, making the {3-Clubs} river merely a formality.

250K for Repik

If it is true that Alexey Repik is the Chairman of the Board of a pharmaceutical company, maybe he's taking some special pills. Or better yet, maybe he's just injected his chip stack with steroids. Why, you may ask? Well, he's up to a whopping quarter of a million in chips and absolutely crushing.

We hadn't been paying much attention to his table as Repik took an extended dinner break, leaving his stack to be blinded and anted off. Well, he's back now and was caught stacking up a ton more chips. Must be nice to be Mr. Repik.

Ramdin Faced With Massive Raise

A player in middle position opened for a raise, and Victor Ramdin three-bet to 4,050 near the button. His opponent called, then checked after the flop came down {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Ramdin continued for 3,000, and his opponent check-jammed for a whopping 68,850. After a few minutes of silence, Ramdin eventually said, "Wow."

He thought for a little longer before eventually folding.
