Grinder Gunna Grinder

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi had an opponent all in and at risk on a flop of {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Mizrachi's {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} was trailing his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, but the turn and river came {8-Spades}, {9-Diamonds} respectively, giving the two-time Poker Players Championship winner a straight.

He now sits on over 160,000 chips.

Jake Cody, the newest member of Team PokerStars.

We arrived at the table in time to watch PokerStars' newest Team Pro Jake Cody take down a sizable pot against Steve O'Dwyer.

The board read {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{Q-Spades}{8-Hearts} and O'Dwyer checked. Cody fired 9,500 into a pot of roughly 27,000 and O'Dwyer called.

Fifth street was the {7-Clubs} and O'Dwyer checked once more. Cody pondered for a moment before moving 12,500 into the center. O'Dwyer called once more and Cody showed cowboys- {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} - and was able to drag in the pot.

Philachack Sup-Plants Seed

In our post-dinner walkabout through the field we noticed 1996 World Series of Poker Main Event champ Huck Seed was nowhere to be found. We checked in with his table and Andy Philachack informed us that he had eliminated the veteran.

Philachack said he held {J-}{10-} while Seed had the superior {A-}{10-}. It was a ten-high flop, some betting occurred, and then a {J-} spiked on the turn. The two player got all the chips in and Seed failed to get there on the river.

A-Massey-ing Some Chips

We caught up to the table to see Timothy Adams all in and at risk against Aaron Massey. Massey barely had Adams covered as the two got it all in and were awaiting five cards.

Massey: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Adams: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Massey's kings were able to hold. He scored the knockout and is now sitting on about 66,000 in chips.

Ivey Flops a Set, Busts ElkY

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (Super High Roller) is eliminated
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (Super High Roller) is eliminated

Phil Ivey opened to 1,300 from under the gun, two players called in middle position, and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier three-bet to 5,250 from the small blind. Ivey's neck snapped towards Grospellier when he tossed out the three-bet, his eyes fully focused on the Frenchman.

Ivey then turned his gaze to one of the other players in the hand, reached for chips, and made the call. The two other players folded.

The dealer fanned {8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades}, and Grospellier led out for 4,400. Ivey tossed out four blue T5,000 chips, putting Grosspellier all in, and he called immediately.

Ivey: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Grospellier: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The turn and river came {2-Clubs}, {10-Hearts} respectively, and Grospellier was eliminated. Ivey is now up over 140,000 chips.
