Chartier Forced to Fold

When we reached Table 17, the board was {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Sam Chartier had 15,700 sitting in front of him, and Henrik Werenskiold - who had checked - moved all in for 52,800.

Chartier mulled the decision over for 30 seconds or so, then folded.

Leonhard's Ladies

Mark Magee was all in at at risk preflop holding {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}. He was dominated by Max Leonhard's {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}, and the board ran out {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Magee was eliminated, while Leonhard is up to 150,000 chips.

Hellmuth Runs Kings Into Aces

Just before the break, Phil Hellmuth was eliminated. We caught the very end of the hand, but the dealer informed us of the rest.

Action folded to Henry Strasser in middle position and he limped in. Next to act was Phil Hellmuth and he raised to 4,000. Action folded back to Strasser who re-raised.

"This is the ultimate cooler I guess," said Hellmuth, who re-raised all in for a little bit more.

Strasser called with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} and had Hellmuth's {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} in awful shape. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, ending Hellmuth's Main Event. Strasser, as well as the rest of the table, had left for the break while Hellmuth stood over the table and stared at it for about 30 seconds before taking his leave as well.
