Both Shannon Shorr and Magnus Sellen have been eliminated from the tournament. We didn't catch either's bust, but the former announced his demise via Twitter:
We arrived at the secondary feature table just in time to see a big pot between Robert Mizrachi and Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody that resulted in one them doubling.
We picked up the action with around 110,000 in the pot and a board reading . Mizrachi had checked from the big blind and Cody, who waited about 45 seconds before acting, moved all in for 83,000. Mizrachi hit the tank for a solid four minutes during which time he counted out chips and stared down his opponent. Cody sat motionless until Mizrachi spiked in a call. Cody confidently turned over for a pair of aces, and it was good as Mizrachi simply sent his hand to the muck.
We got to the table to find Will Molson all in and at risk holding against the of Jeremy Kottler.
Both players paired up on the flop but Molson retained his lead. Fourth street was the and Molson needed to fade a queen or a three heading to the river. A small card did indeed hit fifth street, but it was the , which, although it garnered gasps from their table mates, meant nothing but life for Molson. He was able to double to 75,000 while Kottler fell to about 180,000.
Over on Table 12, Carlos Mortensen and one time chip leader Maxim Lobzhanidze were heads up on a flop of . Lobzhanidze tanked for over a minute before betting 10,000, and Mortensen quickly raised to 22,500. Lobzhanidze called.
The turn was the , and Lobhanidze slowed down, checking to Mortensen who fired 38,500. The Russian folded, and The Matador picked up the pot.
A series of raises between Matt Stout and [Removed:172] led to Stout all in and at risk for 341,500 with .
Stout informed us of the details. Following Kramer's opening min-raise to 8,000, Stout three-bet to 21,000 from the next seat. When action folded back to Kramer, he four-bet to 47,000. Stout five-bet to 83,000 and then called Kramer's five-bet jam for 341,500 effective.
Kramer looked to get near a seven-figure stack with , but shipped more than half of his stack Stout's way when the board ran out .
PokerStars SportStar Fatima Moreira de Melo was grinding a short stack on he bubble, and after it burst she opted to shove her last 26,000 under the gun with . One by one her opponents folded all the way around to Patrick Kelly in the big blind and he snap-called with .
Things looked good for de Melo at first as the flop contained a king, but unfortunately for her it was followed by a queen to give Kelly a set. The turn gave de Melo some chop options, but the river failed to complete them. A gracious de Melo wished her fellow players good luck and then took her leave from the 2013 PCA Main Event.
