Crowe Gets Some Back From Lipman

Michael Lipman limped under the gun and then called when Owen Crowe, who was next to act, raised to 43,000. It was heads-up action to the {Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} flop, and Lipman immediately led out for 16,000.

Crowe responded by making it 56,000, and Lipman fired back, "150,000 on top." Crowe paused for a moment and then pushed back to the tune of 406,000, and it proved enough as Lipman, who flashed the {A-Hearts}, conceded the hand.

Sabat: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Spades}, and Kottler was eliminated. Sabat now has 1.3 million chips.

A Malmy Evening

Action folded around to Ryan Fair's button. He slid out a raise to 36,000 and Michael Malm shipped all in over the top from the big blind for 215,000. Fair called and the hands were rolled over.

Fair: {A-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Malm: {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The board dropped down {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Fair's deuces forced Malm an exit from the tournament. Fair is continuing to build his massive stack and is now sitting on 2.25 million.

Kelly Clips Elias and Knocks Out Benger in Big Hand

Patrick Kelly
Patrick Kelly

From the hijack seat, Darren Elias raised to 33,000 to kick off the action. Griffin Benger moved all in on the button for 154,000, then action moved over to Patrick Kelly in the big blind. Kelly thought about it for a little bit, then made the call. Elias was back up and took a minute before grabbing much more than 154,000. He cocked back some chips and fired out a reraise to 325,000. Kelly didn't take long to make the call.

Kelly and Elias were still in action on the {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop with Benger all in and looking on. Kelly was first and checked. Elias put forward a bet of 250,000, but he was met with a raise all in from Kelly. Elias had a bit over 600,000 behind and went into the tank. Eventually, he gave it up, and Kelly won the side pot.

Kelly revealed the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for a flopped set of fives. Benger held the {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} for top pair, top kicker, but was behind.

The turn was the {3-Clubs}, and the river was the {A-Hearts}. Benger made two pair, but two pair doesn't beat a set and he was eliminated from play. With that pot, Kelly jumped back into the lead with 2.315 million in chips.

Lipman Checks Aces In The Dark

Owen Crowe opened for 38,000 under the gun and cleared the field all the way to Michael Lipman, who called and then checked dark from the big blind. The {2-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades} flop saw Lipman call a bet of 38,000, and then he led out for 65,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn.

The move seemed to take Crowe by surprise, but it didn't deter him from raising to 212,000. Lipman paused for a moment before announcing that he was all in, and Crowe snap-folded. Lipman then showed {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} for a pair of aces with the nut-flush draw.

Kuzmich Sent Packing

Action folded around to Joao Nogueira's button. He raised to 35,000 and Paul Kuzmich three-bet all in from the small blind. It folded back to Nogueira and he called.

Nogueira: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Kuzmich: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The flop brought {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} and the turn the {9-Hearts}. Kuzmich was looking for an ace on the river but the deck did not oblige, as the {4-Hearts} fell and sealed his elimination. Nogueira is now sitting on about 710,000.
