Update From Feature Table

Although our access to the feature table is limited, we can report that Pedro Cuervo Quinche, the shortest stack coming back from the break, has busted.

Soon after, a short-stacked Maxim Panyak moved all in before the flop from the cutoff. Panyak held {A-}{9-} and was Robert Mizrachi called from the button who held pocket nines. Mizrachi's nines held and Panyak was eliminated from play.

Sabat Slipping

Joao Nogueira
Joao Nogueira

Eddy Sabat opened to 46,000 from under the gun, Joao Nogueira called on the button, and the flop fell {q-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Sabat led out for what looked like 58,000, and Nogueira called.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, Sabat led again - this time for 137,000 - and Nogueira again called.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board, and both players checked. Nogueira turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for queens and kings, and Sabat mucked his hand.

Time For A Break

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Level 22 is in the books, which means it's time for another 15-minute break. From what we've been told, the players will then return to play Level 23, go on a dinner break, and then get through Level 24 before calling it a night. That could change, but right now that's the plan.

Mizrachi Doubles

After Olivier Busquet raised to 32,000 from the hijack and Pedro Cuervo Quinche called from the cutoff, Robert Mizrachi squeezed all in from the small blind for 366,000. Busquet folded and Quinche called with {10-}{10-}.

Mizrachi tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and doubled when the board came down {A-}{Q-}{6-}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

Sabat Can't Call

Eddy Sabat opened to 37,000 from under the gun. Joao Nogueira called in the small blind, Mikal Blomlie defended his big blind, and the flop fell {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}. Both blinds checked to Sabat, who continued for 60,000, and only Blomlie called.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, prompting Blomlie to lead out for 107,000. Sabat tank-called.

The river was the {10-Clubs}, and Blomlie led again - this time for 257,000. Sabat went deep into the tank, and eventually asked Blomlie if he would show if Sabat folded. The Norwegian did not respond.

Finally, Sabat folded, and Blomlie raked in the pot.

Katchalov Meets His End

Eugene Katchalov - Eliminated
Eugene Katchalov - Eliminated

Players around the table shot their hands into the muck until action hit Eugene Katchalov on the button. Katchalov open-shipped all in for his last roughly 305,000. Owen Crowe, who was recently moved to Katchalov's table, quickly flat called from the small blind. The big blind folded and the hands were tabled.

Katchalov: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Crowe: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

Katchalov was in dire shape and it got even worse when Crowe flopped a full house. The {8-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop left Katchlov looking for running sixes to stay alive. The {4-Clubs} turned and sealed Katchlov's fate as our 29th place finisher. The meaningless {J-Spades} completed the board and Crowe was able to drag in a pot that boosts his stack to about 2.48 million.
