Timothy Adams - Eliminated
Timothy Adams - Eliminated

After doubling up Fabian Quoss in a massive race, Timothy Adams moved all in for 79,000 from under the gun, Bryn Kenney re-shoved from the hijack seat, and the rest of the action folded through.

Adams: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Kenney: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The board came {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, and Adams hit the rail.

Selbst Wants the Greens

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Vanessa Selbst (Day 1)
Vanessa Selbst (Day 1)

Vanessa Selbst opened to 26,000 from early position, and received calls from Justin Bonomo (cutoff), and Isaac Haxton (big blind). The flop fell {6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, Haxton and Selbst both checked, and Bonomo bet 65,000. Only Selbst called.

The turn was the {2-Spades}, both players checked, and the {q-Diamonds} completed the board. Selbst checked a third time, and Bonomo reached for chips before ultimately checking behind.

Selbst rolled over {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} for a pair of kings, and Bonomo flicked his hand into the muck.

"You were reaching for those green chips," Selbst said, grinning.

Selbst Busts Greenberg

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Lawrence Greenberg (Day 1) - Eliminated
Lawrence Greenberg (Day 1) - Eliminated

We arrived at the table to find Lawrence Greenberg all in and at risk for about 360,000 before the flop. Greenberg held {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and was looking for help against PokerStars Team Pro Vanessa Selbst's {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Greenberg was unable to improve. He took to the rail and Selbst collected his chips. She's now sitting on about 740,000.

Vanessa SelbstBlinded down for a while and then doubled QQ > A7. 740k. Average is 583k, 24 people left.

Shchemelev Busts; Katz Triples

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Vladimir Schemelev
Vladimir Schemelev

Cary Katz was already all in by the time we reached the table, and Vladimir Shchemelev and Antonio Esfandiari had him at risk. The two still had chips to bet with on a flop of {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, and after a series of betting the rest went in the middle.

Katz: {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Esfandiari: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Shchemelev: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

"Not eights," Katz sighed at the sight of Shchemelev's hand.

The turn was the {k-Spades}, adding four more gut-shot outs for Katz, and the {q-Clubs} spiked on the river to give him a straight.

Esfandiari had Shchemelev well-covered, however, and the Russian hit the rail.

On an adjacent table, Zachary Hyman was eliminated with unknown action.

Seiver Will Not Defend his Title

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Scott Seiver - Eliminated
Scott Seiver - Eliminated

The 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Super High Roller champion is no more.

Guy Laliberté opened for a raise in early position, Scott Seiver called out of the small blind, and the dealer fanned {7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Seiver checked, Laliberté continued for 33,000, and the defending champion check-raised to 75,000.

Laliberté moved all in for 274,000, and Seiver snap-called with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a set of sevens. The ONE DROP founder sheepishly revealed {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

"I need runner-runner," Laliberté said, grinning.

The French Canadian could indeed make a flush with running hearts, but Matt Glantz pointed out that he could also make a straight with any {j-}.

Low and behold, the turn was the {j-Diamonds} giving him said straight. The river was the {2-Clubs}.

Laliberté doubled to 600,000 chips, while Seiver was left with just 80,000. The very next hand he three-bet shoved over an open to 20,000 from Max Altergott. Altergott's {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} was slightly ahead of Seiver's {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

"Just ask for runner-runner," Glantz joked.

Seiver didn't seem to think Glantz's comment was very funny, but after the board came {3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} he sincerely wished his tablemates good fortune for the remainder of the tournament.

On an adjacent table, Joseph Cheong was eliminated by Antonio Esfandiari with unknown action.

Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Over on the feature table, Jason Mercier open-shoved for 138,000 on the button. Philipp Gruissem re-shoved out of the small blind, and Bryn Kenney surrendered his big blind.

Mercier: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Gruissem: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Gruissem won the race as the flop, turn, and river came {6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, and Mercier hit the rail.

On the outer tables, Steve O'Dwyer was also eliminated from the tournament.

Bonomo Busts Koon

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Jason Koon - Eliminated
Jason Koon - Eliminated

Jason Koon open-shipped all in for his last 121,000 and Justin Bonomo called from the next seat over. The rest of the table folded their hands and the cards were revealed to find the two racing for Koon's tournament life.

Koon: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Bonomo: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Koon jumped out into a huge lead with two pair after seeing the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} flop. Fourth street was the {2-Clubs}, putting three clubs on the board and giving Bonomo outs to make a flush. Unfortunately for Koon, the {5-Clubs} rolled off on the river and Bonomo's flush was ultimately the best hand. Koon made for the rail and Bonomo collected the pot. He's now sitting on about 570,000 in chips.
