Porter Felts Patel

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

With close to 16,000 already in the pot and the board showing {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Rep Porter bet enough to set his opponent in the hand, Emil Patel, all in. Patel thought it over for a while, looking the entire time as if he did not want to make the call, but eventually doing just that.

Porter turned over {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for a full house, sixes full of kings. Patel nodded as if had expected something like that and showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for trip kings as he stood up from the table.

Gettin' Money

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Chris Moneymaker induced the bluff.
Chris Moneymaker induced the bluff.

Chris Moneymaker check-raised to 7,500 from middle position after the player to his left bet an unknown amount on a {3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades} board. Moneymaker's opponent called, bringing a {7-Diamonds} river. Moneymaker checked and quickly called 9,000 from his foe, and the player turned over {6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of sixes and a missed flush draw. The former Main Event champ tabled {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} and took the pot.

Greer Doubles Through Mizrachi

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Rui Silva opened for 850 and Michael Mizrachi three-bet to 1,650. Garrett Greer bumped it up to 3,900 and Silva folded. Grinder counted out the chips to make the call and put them in the middle.

The flop came {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Mizrachi checked to Greer who bet 3,500. Grinder grabbed all of his big chips and flipped them into the middle. Greer instantly called.

"Ace king?" asked Mizrachi.

Greer confirmed his suspicions, turning over {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, which was one notch better than Mizrachi's {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. The turn was the {2-Spades} giving Mizrachi some outs with the spade flush draw. Greer would pump his fist after the dealer put out the {10-Hearts} on the river having secured a much needed double up to 45,000 in chips.

Danzer Takes from Countryman

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{a-Spades}, Matthias Ballnus and Jeff Madsen checked to reigning World Series of Poker Player of the Year George Danzer, who bet 3,200 from the cutoff. Ballnus made the call from early position, while Madsen folded. Both players checked the {j-Clubs}, and Ballnus bet 5,500 on the {6-Spades}. Danzer called, and Ballnus showed {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Danzer had {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for a pair of aces though, and he took the pot at the expense of his fellow German.

Colman Doubles Through Tamba

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Daniel Colman doubled up with jacks.
Daniel Colman doubled up with jacks.

We found Daniel Colman contemplating a check-raise from Ali Tamba, who put in about 10,000 from middle position after Colman bet 3,000 on a board of {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Colman said something we couldn't hear to Tamba.

"I been saying all kinds of s*** all day," Tamba said. "You're probably way ahead."

Colman, who had only a few thousand more than the raise, smiled and the two exchanged a few more words before Tamba decided the conversation was over.

"I'm going undercover," he announced, putting on his sunglasses.

Colman decided to put his stack in, and Tamba made the call for 3,725 more, showing just the {5-Spades}, indicating he had fives up. Colman could beat it with {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, and Tamba revealed his kicker to be {6-Clubs}.

The dealer swept Colman his double up after the {q-Spades} hit the river.

"I was so close to folding," Colman said.

De Melo Folds on River

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Fatima Moreira de Melo
Fatima Moreira de Melo

With approximately 7,000 in the pot and the board showing {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Fernando Muniz led out for 2,200 and Fatima De Melo raised it up to 7,000. The one player sitting between the two folded and Muniz made the call.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and Muniz wasted no time in throwing out two blue T5,000 chips for a bet of 10,000. De Melo shook her head and folded, leaving herself with 17,500 behind. Muniz moved up to 51,000 in chips with that pot.
