On the paired {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, Mike McDonald checked, Ankush Mandavia bet 40,000, and David Peters folded. McDonald called.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, and both players checked to see the {8-Hearts} land on the river. McDonald bet 80,000, and Mandavia called.

Flush for Lehne

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

From the cutoff seat, Dzmitry Urbanovich raised to 39,000. Kathy Lehne called from the small blind, and Joe McKeehen called from the big blind.

On the {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Lehne and McKeehen checked. Urbanovich bet 40,000, and both of his opponents made the call to see the {4-Clubs} land on the turn. All three checked, and the river was the {8-Clubs}. Again, all three checked.

Lehne tabled the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush, and both McKeehen and Urbanovich mucked.

"Two Texans and a Confused Pro"

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Joe McKeehen raised to 36,000 from the under-the-gun position, and Bill Perkins called out of the small blind. Kathy Lehne called from the big blind, and the flop came down {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Perkins and Lehne checked, and McKeehen bet 42,000. Both Perkins and Lehne called.

The turn was the {J-Hearts}, and all three players checked. Before the river was dealt, Perkins commented on the hand, "Two Texans and a confused pro."

The dealer then dealt the {8-Hearts} on the end, and all three players checked.

"I've got an ace," said Perkins, showing the {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. His opponents mucked, and Perkins won the pot.

Kanit Finding Success Early After Break

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit has things rolling with two decent pots right after break.

In the first, he was in the small blind and check-called 100,000 from Mike McDonald on an {8-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades} board. Both players checked the {7-Spades}, and Kanit showed {k-}{j-} for the win.

Shortly thereafter, Kanit opened for a raise in the cutoff and called a three-bet from chip leader Ankush Mandavia, who made it 77,000 on the button. The flop came {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, and Kanit check-called a sizable bet of 115,000. Both checked the {2-Diamonds}, and Kanit came out betting with 180,000 on the {10-Spades} river. Mandavia thought about a minute after cutting out the necessary calling chips before mucking his hand.

Petrangelo Beats O'Dwyer

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

From the cutoff seat, Nick Petrangelo raised to 30,000. Steve O'Dwyer reraised to 90,000 out of the big blind, and Petrangelo called to see the flop come down {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. O'Dwyer bet 90,000, and Petrangelo called.

The turn was the {K-Hearts}, and both players checked. They also both checked after the {4-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

O'Dwyer showed the {K-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a pair of kings, but he was beat by Petrangelo's {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}.
