Assuncao Has the Better Queen

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

A player raised from early position and Terence Jordon and Manoel Assuncao called. The flop was {q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and the action checked to Jordon who bet 600. Assuncao was the only caller.

The two players were heads up to the turn. Assuncao checked to Jordon when the {8-Diamonds} hit and Jordon bet 1,000. Assuncao called.

The river was the {j-Clubs} and both players checked.

"Queen," said Jordon as he turned over {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Assuncao showed {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for a better kicker and took down the pot.

Celina Lin

PokerStars Pro Celina Lin raised to 350 preflop and Steven Abbey called. The flop came {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Lin checked. Abbey bet 1,300 and Lin called.

Both players checked the {j-Hearts} on the turn and Lin led the river when the {3-Hearts} hit. She bet 1,800 and Abbey called. Lin showed pocket tens, {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, but it wasn't good enough to beat the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} of Abbey.

White Takes It Down On the River

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Jackson White won a pot with a river bet of 4,000 against PokerStars Pro Fatima Moreira de Melo.

Both players eyed the flop of {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} and Moreira de Melo checked to White. White bet 500 and Moreira de Melo called. It was more of the same when the {10-Hearts} came on the turn. Moreira de Melo checked and called White's 1,600 bet.

The river proved too much for Moreira de Melo to continue, she checked for a third time and White wasted no time betting 4,000. Moreira de Melo folded and White took down the pot.
