Melianiuk Loses One To Ryan, But Still Over 300K

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Andrew Ryan check-called a bet of 12,200 from Siarhei Melianiuk on the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{10-Spades} flop to see the {2-Spades} land on the turn. Ryan checked, Melianiuk fired 23,600, and Ryan called.

The river was the {8-Clubs}, and both players checked.

Ryan turned over top two pair with the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, and Melianiuk mucked his hand.

A Downswing for Denisov

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Aleksandr Denisov is having a bit of a downswing. On this hand he raised from the hijack to 2,400 and got two callers.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades} and the first player to act checked to Denisov. He bet 2,600 and Dalton Brinker called. The action came back to the first player and he folded.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and Denisov checked. Brinker bet 5,200 and Denisov called.

On the river, Denisov checked again when the {2-Spades} hit, putting four spades on the board. Brinker eyed the board, then eyed Denisov and bet 13,500. Denisov didn't take too long to call and mucked his hand after seeing the {k-Spades}{q-} of Brinker. Brinker won the hand with a flush.

Malinowski Races for Her Tournament Life

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Just before the break, Ezra Abu-Gazal opened for 2,400 and received a call from Danut Chisu in the cutoff. Peggy Malinowski then three-bet jammed for 10,600 from the small blind, Abu-Gazal moved all in over the top, and Chisu got out of the way.

Abu-Gazal: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Malinowski: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Malinowski was ahead, but Abu-Gazal was drawing to two live overs. Fortunately for Malinowski, the board ran out a safe {7-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} and she shipped the double.
