We found Shawn Buchanan facing a bet of 10,500 from big blind Farid Jattin on a board of ![]()

Anthony Zinno was eliminated shortly before the break when he got all in with pocket aces.
Farid Jattin had a set of sevens on the flop and Zinno couldn't catch up.
We saw Ryan Riess taking the long walk of loneliness down the hall (though to be fair he was with his girlfriend), and he confirmed that he'd just been eliminated from the Main Event.
As he told it, Fedor Holz had raised from the cutoff and Riess called from the button with ![]()
. Both players checked the ![]()

flop, and then Holz bet when a

completed the board on the river, and Holz bet again.
Riess responded by moving all in, and Holz hit the tank for over a minute before calling with ![]()
for a straight. That hand left Riess crippled, and Holz finished him off shortly thereafter.
"Bluffed it off," Riess concluded.
Steve O'Dwyer holds one of the bigger stacks today and on this hand he picked up a few more with a bet on the river.
In preflop action, O'Dwyer raised to 3,600 from the button and both blinds called him. The flop came ![]()

and all three players checked.
The action checked around on the turn as well when the
hit. On the river the action checked to O'Dwyer for a third time and this time he placed a bet of 12,000. Both opponents folded and O'Dwyer took down the pot.
A player opened for 3,000 on the button, and Jason Koon made it 9,000 from the small blind. Big blind Kevin MacPhee, coming off a WSOP Europe Main Event win last October, made it a four-bet to 23,200 in the big. The initial raiser quickly mucked, and Koon thought a bit before announcing all in after getting a rough count of MacPhee's stack.
MacPhee tanked for about five minutes before muttering something to himself and mucking.
