Small River Bet from Tedeschi

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Fedor Holz opened the action with a raise to 18,000 from early position. Paul Tedeschi put in a reraise to 45,000 from the small blind, and Holz called.

Both players then checked the {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop and the {7-Spades} turn to see the {8-Diamonds} complete the board on the river. Tedeschi bet 18,000, and Holz folded.

The turn was the {5-Clubs}, and it paired the board. Koon led with a bet of 20,000, and Gregg made the call to see the {4-Hearts} land on the river. Koon and Gregg both checked.

Koon showed the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, and Gregg mucked his hand.

Paul Tedeschi
Paul Tedeschi

Paul Tedeschi just took down a pot with a 100,000 bet on the flop and is approaching 1 million chips.

Spears reraised to 60,000 from the button and Tedeschi called before Waxman folded.

The flop came {4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Tedeschi slid out a stack of 5,000 chips, betting 100,000. Spears thought for a moment or two and then folded.

Kritzer Sends Cairns to the Rail

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Randy Kritzer shoved all in, putting David Cairns to the test and at risk, should he call. Eventually, Cairns called.

Cairns had a good hand, {a-}{k-}, but it was not good enough to beat the {a-}{a-} of Kritzer. The board was no help for Cairns as it came {6-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}, ending his day.
