Demlakian Doubles Through Eldridge

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ami Barer raised to 20,000 from early position, David Eldridge three-bet to 53,000 from the cutoff seat, Vasken Demlakian cold called from the button, and then Barer also called.

The flop was {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and Barer checked. Eldridge checked as well, then Demlakian fired in a bet of 112,000. Barer folded, and Eldridge check-raised all in to put Demlakian at risk. Demlakian called with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and was at risk for 309,000 total on the flop. Eldridge had the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

Eldridge picked up a straight draw with the {5-Clubs} turn card, but the {2-Hearts} on the river did not give him the knockout. Demlakian won the pot and doubled to 800,000 in chips.
