Classic Race with Jetten vs. Kurganov

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Peter Jetten opened from the hijack and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 5,200 on the button. Igor Kurganov was in the small blind and made a four-bet to 15,400. With the action back on Jetten, he five-bet jammed all in for 84,800. Chidwick got out of the way and Kurganov made the call.

Peter Jetten: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Igor Kurganov: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

It was a classic race situation with Jetter currently in front holding the pocket queens. The board ran out {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Jetten's pocket pair held up to earn himself a full double up through Kurganov.

Bonomo: {10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Bonomo spiked a queen on the turn to stay alive.

Greenberg Calls Khoroshenin's Bluff

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

There were about 15,000 chips in the pot after some action on the flop when we got to the table and the board read {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Lawrence Greenberg bet 17,000 from the big blind and Oleksii Khoroshenin, who was on the button, went into the tank. He used one time bank slip before he called.

The {7-Hearts} fell on the river and Greenberg checked. Khoroshenin bet 13,000, Greenberg called, Khoroshenin tabled {5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, and Greenberg showed {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} to take the pot.

Badziakouski Stacks Hobbs

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Mikita Badziakouski was in the hijack, Kevin Hobbs was in the cutoff, and the two players got their stacks in the middle in a flurry of activity on a flop of {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Hobbs: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Badziakouski: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Badziakouski was way ahead with his set of sevens and Hobbs needed a lot of help from the deck to survive. The {4-Diamonds} turn and {2-Hearts} river changed nothing, so Badziakouski took the pot to send Hobbs to the rail.

Stuer Makes Haxton Lay One Down

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Julien Stuer raised to 1,300 from the hijack and Isaac Haxton called from the big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Haxton checked to Stuer who bet 1,200. Haxton check-raised to 2,800 and Stuer wasn't ready to let go.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and Haxton fired another 2,800 into the pot. Stuer used up his 30 seconds before making a raise to 7,600. Haxton eyed up his opponent's chips before pushing his cards to the muck.
