It didn't take long for Mikita Badziakouski to put his fresh stack of 250,000 to work and within no time he was down to around 100,000, leaving himself with under 10 big blinds. He eventually got his chips in the middle with {a-Spades}{2-Clubs} but ran into the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} of Christoph Vogelsang.

Foxen Victorious over Katz

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Cary Katz raised to 22,000 from under the gun and Talal Shakerchi called in mid-position. Action folded to Alex Foxen in the small blind who asked how much more Katz had behind. Katz showed he had 195,000 and Foxen decided to three-bet to 95,000. Katz flicked in the remainder of his stack for the call and Shakerchi quickly folded.

Alex Foxen: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for Foxen's queens to hold and eliminate Katz from the $50,000 Single-Day Super High Roller.

Shakerchi Cracks Haxton's Aces

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Talal Shakerchi raised in the cutoff and Isaac Haxton just called from the big blind. The flop fell {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Haxton checked to Shakerchi who continued for 31,000. Haxton check-raised to 67,000 and Shakerchi moved all in. Haxton called off his last 186,000 and had a clear lead.

Isaac Haxton: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Talal Shakerchi: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {7-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing but the {10-Clubs} on the river gave Shakerchi a full house and Haxton headed to the rail.

Bonomo Doubles Through Kenney

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Justin Bonomo open-shipped all in for 136,000 in the hijack and Bryn Kenney re-shoved all in for 364,000 in the cutoff. The rest of the table folded and the cards were on their backs.

Justin Bonomo: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Bryn Kenney: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Kenney held the advantage preflop but the {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop favored Bonomo. The {4-Diamonds} on the turn and the {9-Diamonds} on the river gave Bonomo a full double up.

Foxen Eliminates Badziakouski in Huge Pot

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 19,000 from the cutoff and Alex Foxen three-bet to 60,000 on the button. Action folded back to Badziakouski who made the call.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, Badziakouski check-called the 32,000 continuation-bet of Foxen.

The turn brought them the {6-Spades}, Badziakouski checked again. Foxen now barreled a bet of 153,000 over the line which Badziakouski called.

The river completed the board with the {7-Spades}, Badziakouski used almost all 30 seconds before opting to check. Foxen took a few seconds and then decided to shove. Badziakouski asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Foxen had 490,000 behind. Badziakouski dived into the tank, using four time bank cards, before making the call and pushing his whole stack in as Foxen tabled {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for the nut-flush. Badziakouski held {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the flopped two pair.

As the hand started in the previous level, Badziakouski could still reenter the tournament which is what he quickly did. Over on the other table, Christoph Vogelsang had also retaken a seat as he had reentered just before the end of the previous level.
