Hollink Catches Luca Bluffing

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Ivan Luca was in the big blind and bet 14,000 into 7,000 on a completed board of {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Rob Hollink splashed in a chip from early position after thinking a bit and Luca showed {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, playing the board. Hollink turned over {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to take the pot.

Heath Wins a Classic Flip

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Sylvain Loosli was already on his second bullet of the day and raised from early position. Mustapha Kanit three-bet to 7,200 in the cutoff and Ben Heath shipped all in for over 50,000 on the button. Loosli stuck in his last 17,400 chips but Kanit found a fold after using a few time extensions.

Ben Heath: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Sylvain Loosli: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

It was a classic coin flip that saw Heath take the lead on a flop of {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river was the {10-Spades} as Loosli was bounced to the rail.

Cheong Busts Seiver

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On his second and final entry, Scott Seiver got his stack of about 35,000 in on an {8-}{7-}{2-} flop with {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for him, Joseph Cheong held {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and a turn {7-} all but doomed Seiver. He didn't find salvation on the river and hit the rail.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Pollak has taken a seat on his second entry.

Roberts Eliminates a Greenwood

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

It was blind versus blind on a board reading {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Lauren Roberts led out for 7,200 in the small blind. Luc Greenwood moved all in for around 20,000 and Roberts ended up making the call.

Greenwood turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} but Roberts turned a pair with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Greenwood was unable to find the last queen on the river and his tournament hopes came to an end.

Dvoress Doubles Through Chabra

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Ajay Chabra had 12,000 in front of him in the small blind and Daniel Dvoress had moved all in from middle position for 42,800. Chabra tanked a bit and called, tabling {q-Spades}{j-Spades}. They were live as Dvoress held {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

The {q-Clubs} door card was not what Dvoress wanted to see, but it was all roses after that as the rest of the board was {6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}.

Updated Counts

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Chabra Over Haxton

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a three-bet pot, Ajay Chabra went heads-up to a flop with Isaac Haxton. The flop read {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Chabra checked to Haxton who bet 5,000 into a pot of around 15,000. Chabra called and the {5-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Chabra checked again and Haxton fired another bullet of 17,000. Chabra still called and the {q-Diamonds} completed the board. Chabra checked for the third time and Haxton quickly checked it back. Chabra flipped over {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for two pair and that earned him the pot.

Kerber Bet-Three-Bets

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Kelvin Kerber bet 4,000 in a three-way pot on {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}. Francois Billard called him from the button but Isaac Haxton had bigger plans, making it 11,000 to go. Kerber used a time bank then stuffed it all in for about 70,000 more and Haxton quickly followed Billard into the muck.
