Six levels are over and the field of 207 hopefuls has been cut down all the way to the last 50. The last two to bust were Andrei Kurov and Dustin Dirksen, the former sent his stack over to Talal Shakerchi.
Kurov had moved all in after the turn with only to see Shakerchi snap-call with the for trips tens. The river was a blank and Kurov was done for the day.

With about 200,000 in the pot, Yan Li and Yiannis Liperis went to war with the former under the gun and the latter in late position on . It ended with Liperis all in for 815,000, calling a shove from Li.

The draw hit right away on the turn. The river was a and Li took a picture of the hand, which devastated her stack down to 65,000. In the big blind for most of it the next hand, she busted out.

Picking up the action on the turn with around 350,000 already in the middle, the board read . Jason Koonce led out for 225,000 from the big blind and Mustapha Kanit called from the button. The river was the and Koonce quickly shoved all in, putting Kanit to the test for his remaining 515,000 chips. The Italian thought for a minute but eventually, let his hand go.
In the very next hand, Christoph Vogelsang moved all in for 335,000 in early position and Kanit also ripped all in for 515,000 in the cutoff. Koonce looked down at his cards in the small blind and re-shoved all in as well.

Koonce was in line for another massive pot heading his way and the flop of left him well out front. The on the turn gave Vogelsang a straight draw but the on the river gave Koonce the double knockout and a massive stack of chips.

Within a matter of five minutes, more than half a dozen players were eliminated and the field was cut down at an alarming pace. Among those to bust were Patrick "IrEgption" Tardif, Bryan Piccioli, Ajay Chabra and Ryan Riess.
Tardif faced the raise to 50,000 by Adrian Echave Samu in the hijack and the shove of Damien Le Goff in the cutoff for 100,000. Tardif reshoved for 320,000 and the Spaniard snap-called.

We didn't see exactly how things went down, but Jason Koonce was doubling through Dustin Dirksen with the cards on their backs and on the felt. The players had played the pot from the first two positions, Dirksen having turned a straight with and Koonce having hit the nuts with . Dirksen sent over a double for all but 130,000.
"That was unlucky," someone said.
"Yeah, it was, but I got lucky earlier," Dirksen said. "I mean, I didn't have to three-bet."
