Ramdin Loses Flip to Montes

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A button raise by Jose Montes was followed by the three-bet shove of Victor Ramdin, who was at risk for around 360,000 in the small blind. Montes called and it was a classic flip for Ramdin's tournament life.

Victor Ramdin: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Jose Montes: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Ramdin headed to the payout desk. Also on the rail: Jack Salter.

Sven McDermott raised it up from the cutoff and Talal Shakerchi jammed the button for 455,000, which McDermott called.

Talal Shakerchi: {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Sven McDermott: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

On the board of {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, the pocket pair of the Irishman was no good and he was left with a miracle ahead, down to a single big blind.

Martini Vaults to the Top with the Elimination of Ruzicka

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

It was blind versus blind with the board reading {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Vojtech Ruzicka checked from the small blind and Julien Martini bet 110,000 into around 200,000 from the big blind. Ruzicka used up one of his time extensions before announcing all in for 330,000. Martini snapped him off and the cards were tabled.

Julien Martini: {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Vojtech Ruzicka: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Ruzicka was already drawing dead to Martini's top two pair as he stood up from his chair. The insignificant {4-Spades} completed the board and Martini collected the chips to climb over 2,000,000.

Pollak Can't Catch a Card

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action folded to Benjamin Pollak on the button who moved all in for his last 275,000 chips. Luis Faria asked for a count from the small blind and made the call.

Luis Faria: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Benjamin Pollak: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Pollak had two live cards to work with but the flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} left Faria in the lead with his ace-high. The {10-Hearts} on the turn gave Pollak a straight draw as well but the {3-Spades} on the river bricked off, sending him to the payout desk.
