Abdellatif Jams the River; Kramer Wins Against Deeb

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

On the heads-up turn of {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Dario Sammartino on the button faced the check-raise of Jonathan Abdellatif in the big blind after he had bet 3,000. Abdellatif had invested 7,300 and Sammartino called. The {K-Diamonds} river saw Abdellatif jam almost immediately for 11,000 and Sammartino let go.

One table over, Shaun Deeb bet the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} turn for 1,500 and [Removed:172] called. On the {5-Clubs} river, Deeb bet 4,200 and Kramer called once more. Deeb tabled the {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} for top pair, but it was Kramer that claimed the pot with {8-Spades}{5-Spades} for rivered two pair.

Diaz Busts to Jozonis

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Tomas Jozonis
Tomas Jozonis

A pot of 10,000 had appeared until the {Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} turn and Guillaume Diaz checked from under the gun. Tomas Jozonis made it 5,400 to go and that sent Diaz into the think tank. After more than two minutes he tossed in calling chips with some 20,000 behind.

The {6-Spades} fell on the river and Diaz moved all in, Jozonis almost beat him into the pot.

"Do you have queens?" Diaz asked and that's indeed what Jozonis held, flipping over {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for top set. Diaz flashed his {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, grabbed his belongings and was out of the door two seconds later.

Hissou Caught Bluffing

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

The field size is approaching 300 entries with now 287 entries including nine re-entries, and among the notables to appear in the field as of lately was also Shaun Deeb. He just clashed with Sirzat Hissou in a button versus cutoff spot and both invested 5,200 preflop before the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop.

Hissou continued for 4,600 and Deeb called, the {7-Hearts} turn then went check, check. On the {5-Diamonds} river, Hissou bet 11,100 and Deeb had barely more than that behind. He gave it some thought and called to get shown {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts} by Hissou, claiming the pot with {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for a pair of kings.
