Cote Doubles Huge With Set

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

A massive clash between Daivd Bokor and Joe Cote left the latter all in for 575,000. The board was {J-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{A-Spades} and Cote was all in for 575,000 with {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Bokor had the inferior hand with {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} and was left with just 52,000.

Kuhnen Flops Trips

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Markus Kuhnen raised to 32,000 from under the gun and Mihai Manole three-bet to 87,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Kuhnen who made the call.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Kuhnen bet 42,000 and Manole called.

The turn brought them the {3-Spades}, Kuhnen now opted to check and Manole lead out for 87,000 which Kuhnen called.

The river completed the board with the {2-Hearts} and Kuhnen quickly checked. Manole took some time, counted out his white 25,000-value chips and then decided to also check. Kuhnen tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for trip kings and that was enough to make Manole muck his hand.

Greenblatt Down

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On a {2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, Alexander Greenblatt bet almost all of his chips and Alexandre Santos shoved all in. With a payjump in sight, Greenblatt ran down the clock before calling the final bits off.

Alexander Greenblatt: {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Alexandre Santos: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

Things were looking very bleak for Greenblatt but the {4-Clubs} on the turn was one of the cards that could help him escape. The {A-Diamonds} river didn't complete the miracle runner-runner and finished in 28th for $3,620. Ariel Celestino busted shortly after at a different table and collected $4,180 for place 27.

Schemion Takes Ferreira Out

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Fernand Dos Santos Ferreira had a bet of 115,000 in front of him in the hijack, keeping 29,000 behind and Ole Schemion had raised to put Ferreira all-in. Ferreira contemplated his options for a while and then decided to make the call and put himself at risk.

Fernand Dos Santos Ferreira: {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Ole Schemion: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to give Schemion the set of kings and Ferreira the straight draw.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} to give Schemion the full house and leave Ferreira drawing dead.

The {4-Diamonds} on the river was just a formality as Ferreira made his way to the payout desk to collect $3,620 for his efforts over the past two days.

Reichenstein Busts Blenkarn, Margets Doubles Up

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jeffrey Blenkarn was all in for around 185,000 and up against Uri Reichenstein. Blenkarn held {A-Spades}{J-Spades} but had to come from behind against Reichenstein's {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. He caught only a jack on a {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board and was subsequently eliminated in 31st place.

At another table, Leo Margets was all in and at risk against Gustavo de Faria Lopes. Margets had {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} on a {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop, while De Faria Lopes had plenty of outs with {A-Spades}{J-Spades}. Two old-fashioned bricks hit on the {4-Diamonds} turn and {9-Clubs} river to keep the Spanish pro in the lead.

De Faria Lopes was left with a few big blinds and lost those shortly after to bust in 30th.
