Rheem Finds the Right Fold

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was heads up with a big pot of 36,000 in the middle and a full board of {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} when Dmitriy Reznikov shoved his last 11,600. David "Chino" Rheem went into the tank for several moments to consider his options, but he ultimately tossed his {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} in the muck face up. Reznikov showed {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} for the wheel that would have beaten Rheem's set of fours.

Dowling and Chen Butting Heads

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Bartley Dowling raised to 800 from middle position before Andrew Chen three-bet to 2,700 from the next seat over. Dowling called and the flop was {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Dowling checked and Chen tossed in 1,500, to which Dowling responded with a raise to 3,500. Chen got out of the way and Dowling picked up the pot.

On the very next hand, Dowling raised once again to 800 and Chen made it 2,500. The rest of the table got out of the way and the flop was {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}. Dowling fired a bet of 1,600 and Chen got away from it once again.

Meanwhile at the same table, Ana Marquez has taken her seat.

Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

In a heads-up pot with close to 20,000 in the middle on a completed board of {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades}, Alejandro Lococo slid out a bet of 16,000 from early position. Lucas Jun Choi snap-called in the cutoff to put himself at risk and the cards were shown.

Lococo tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for the flopped nut-straight but was shown the bad news when Choi happily revealed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for quads and received a full double-up.

Pineda Tries to Set a Trap on Cardot

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

The action started when an under-the-gun player limped in and it folded to Yannick Cardot in the cutoff who made to 1,200. Both Julian Pineda in the big blind and the limper made the call.

On the flop of {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, play was checked to Cardot who continued for 1,200 and only Pineda came along to the {j-Hearts} turn. Pineda checked a second time and Cardot checked back.

The {q-Spades} completed the board and Cardot checked again. Pineda took a moment but eventually tapped the table and Pineda quickly rolled over {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for a flopped set to take the pot.

The flop was {8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Tang check-called a 2,000 bet from Schwarz. The turn came {7-Diamonds}.

Chiciak Takes Blind-on-Blind Battle

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

The action folded around to Lukas Chiciak in the small blind who made it 1,100 to go and Filho Alcantara came along in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Chiciak continued for 700, which Alcantara called. On the {3-Diamonds} turn Chiciak decided on a check and Alcantara bet out 2,100.

Chiciak made the call and the {5-Hearts} completed the runout. Both players checked to a showdown and Chiciak tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for ace-high, which was enough to score the pot when Alcantara flashed a king and mucked his hand.
