Nguyen Scores Double Up Off Chantler

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Dario Sammartino opened to 2,500 from early position and it folded around to Tommy Nguyen and Stewart Chantler who both made the call from the blinds.

The flop came {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and action was checked to Sammartino who continued for 3,500. Nguyen called and Chantler elected on a check-raise to 27,000. Sammartino bowed out and Nguyen pretty quickly moved all in for 37,400 total, which Chantler called with a bigger stack.

Tommy Nguyen: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Stewart Chantler: {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Both players found top pair but the king-kicker for Nguyen was out in front. Chantler would need a club or a six to send his fellow Canadian packing. The board ran out {a-Diamonds} {k-Hearts} and the two-pair for Nguyen secured his full double up off of Chantler.
