Kolev Out Once More

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Lucas Landa in the big blind and Boris Kolev on the button, the latter jammed the {j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Spades} river for what appeared to be the final 11,800. Landa check-called and Kolev revealed the {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Landa had that beat with {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for flopped to pair and sent Kolev to the rail on his second bullet of the day.

Linde Doubles Through Gruissem

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Philipp Gruissem opened to 1,600 from the cutoff and was called by Evan Sparling and Dylan Linde from the button and the big blind.

Linde checked the {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and Gruissem continued for 2,500. Sparling folded before Linde raised to 6,800, leaving just 6,200 behind. After some decision time, Gruissem called.

Linde then put in the last of his stack on the {8-Clubs} turn.

"Oh my god, I wish you went all in on the flop...I have a good hand," said the returning German.

Gruissem, who hasn't been at a live event since 2020, decided to call saying "there's too much in the pot."

Dylan Linde: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Philipp Gruissem: {6-Spades}{4-Spades}

Linde had the straight and secured the double up following the {8-Hearts} river.

Colillas Chips Up With Trips

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Joining the action with around 11,500 in the pot, it was a blind versus blind battle between Aram Oganyan in the small and Ramon Colillas in the big.

The board read {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Oganyan check-called the 7,500 bet from Colillas.

The river came the {3-Diamonds} and Oganyan checked. Colillas put out a bet of 17,500. Oganyan made the call but was left disappointed when Colillas turned over {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} for trips to take down the pot.

Karmatckii Binks a Fortunate Double Through De Mario

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Arsenii Karmatckii raised to 1,700 on the button with less than a starting stack in total at his disposal. Massimo De Mario in the big blind, as the table chip leader, simply squeezed to more than 50,000 and Karmatckii mulled it over for a couple of seconds before calling all-in.

Arsenii Karmatckii: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Massimo De Mario: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and {9-Hearts} turn kept De Mario ahead. However, Karmatckii got there with the {k-Clubs} river and a stunned De Mario could only manage a "good call, I guess," before he shrugged and shook his head.

Ethan Yau
Ethan Yau

Action was caught on the {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} completed board with 10,800 in the pot.

Roman Hrabec bet 9,000 from the cutoff and Ethan Yau promptly called from the button. Hrabec turned over his {10-Spades}{9-Hearts} for nines and threes and Yau sent his hand into the muck.

The very next hand, Yau opened to 1,800 from the cutoff and was called by Leon Sturm from the big blind.

The {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop checked through to the {2-Diamonds} turn. Sturm led out for 2,700 and Yau made the fold.

Dattani Eliminated by Ruivo

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

The action started with a raise by Michel Dattani and he earned two callers out of the blinds including Manuel Ruivo and Robert Heidorn. They checked the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop on which Dattani continued for 1,100 and received two calls.

After the {5-Spades} turn, all three players checked and the {5-Clubs} river paired the board for the second time. Ruivo and Heidorn checked once more and Dattani bet 5,000. Ruivo check-raised to 25,000, Heidorn folded, and Dattani called all-in for 22,000.

Ruivo tabled the {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for quad fives and Dattani could only smile, show his {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, and walk over to his countryman as they shook hands.
