Haxton Back on the Rise

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Isaac Haxton was all-in for a mere 44,000 with the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Fedor Holz looked him up holding the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Haxton doubled.

In the last hand before the break, he then won another larger pot off Dan Smith to almost double once more.

One table over, Kannapong Thanarattrakul and David Peters created a hefty pot to the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} river. Thanarattrakul used one time bank to jam with the covering stack and Peters called for around 150,000 behind.

Thanarattrakul tabled the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Peters chopped holding {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

Hook Works on a Miracle Comeback

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Chalie Hook
Chalie Hook

Fedor Holz had doubled through fellow late entrant Chalie Hook and that left the latter with fumes, as he was forced all-in out of the big blind next. Isaac Haxton limped the button and Holz did so from the small blind.

On the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop, Holz check-called for 5,000 and they checked the {2-Clubs} turn. Holz checked the {4-Spades} river and Haxton bet 9,000 to isolate.

Hook tabled the {9-Spades}{2-Spades} for a pair of deuces and Haxton had air with the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Hook doubled after with {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} against Haxton's {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} thanks to a {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs} runout before he won a flip with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} against a low pair of Holz.

In the meanwhile, Sam Greenwood check-jammed a {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds} river into Mike Watson who had bet 50,000 and sigh-folded with a dry smile on the face.

Bonomo The Next to Fall

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The scramble in the late registration continues without much of a break and the next player to get the chips in preflop was Justin Bonomo for around 110,000. Timothy Adams had an easy call and exposed his cards already.

"Are you sure you wanna call?" Bonomo joked upon being shown the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. He was trailing with the {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and things got just a little better on the {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop when his outs increased from two to four. The {3-Diamonds} turn made a split pot possible but the {9-Spades} river knocked out Bonomo.

Thanarattrakul Further Increases Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress raised to 10,000 on the button and then called a three-bet to 40,000 by Kannapong Thanarattrakul out of the small blind. Following a {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, Thanarattrakul continued for 44,000 to receive a call and that led them to the {4-Diamonds} on the turn.

Thanarattrakul now used one time bank extension before he bet 110,000 and Dvoress himself also invested one time bank before he folded.

New Entries and a Bustout

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

David Yan was spotted on his way out of the tournament area and his chips were sent over to the other side of the table as Steve O'Dwyer claimed them.

In the meanwhile, Chalie Hook, Nick Petrangelo and Henrik Hecklen all entered and the field was balanced with now four tables in play.

Shakerchi Jams Into O'Dwyer

Level 11 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With 81,000 in the middle in a three-bet pot, Talal Shakerchi bet 16,000 out of the big blind with the flop showing {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Steve O'Dwyer called and they headed to the {k-Spades} on the turn. Shakerchi now jammed for 85,000 and O'Dwyer used two time banks before folding.
