Beresford Doubles and Wins a Bounty

Level 19 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Conor Beresford
Conor Beresford

Matthew Lambrecht opened to 12,000 in early position and was called by Jesper Hansen in the cutoff and Roman Timergazin in the small blind. Conor Beresford three-bet to 53,000 from the big blind which got Lambrecht to fold. Hansen called and Timergazin jammed all in as the big stack. Beresford quickly called off his stack of 201,000 and Hansen stuck in the last of his stack of 75,000 chips.

Jesper Hansen: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Conor Beresford: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Roman Timergazin: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for Beresford to double through Timergazin and collect Hansen's bounty at the same time.

Raus Doubles Through Peters

Level 19 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Martin Raus was all-in for his final 58,000 chips and at risk against David Peters to his left.

Martin Raus: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
David Peters: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Raus needed help and found a flush draw on the {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, while Peters connected for top pair. The turn {k-Clubs} completed the flush and the {q-Diamonds} river completed the board as Raus doubled up through Peters.

Peters Squeezes Deeb, Earns Bounty

Level 19 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

David Peters raised to 12,000 in early position and Shaun Deeb raised to 35,000. Krasimir Yankov called in the big blind before Peters moved all in, putting the decision back on Deeb.

Deeb contemplated his move for a minute before making the fold, leaving Yankov at risk against Peters.

Krasimir Yankov: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
David Peters: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

Peters held the higher kicker, but the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop appeared to set the table for a chop. The {3-Spades} turn kept Peters in front, while the {4-Diamonds} river denied Yankov the chop as his tournament run came to an end.

Ng Races With [Removed:549]

Level 20 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

[Removed:548] moved his short stack in the middle from under the gun, eventually finding a call from Ambrose Ng in the big blind.

[Removed:548]: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Ambrose Ng: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The race was on for [Removed:549]'s tournament life, with the {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop providing some additional outs. That list grew even larger on the {j-Spades} turn, but the {5-Hearts} river was a brick to bring [Removed:549]'s run to an end.

Kuo Just Misses a Bounty

Level 20 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kitty Kuo
Kitty Kuo

Kitty Kuo raised it up from under the gun and David Ivers three-bet shoved all in from the small blind. Kuo called with both players having similar stacks.

Kitty Kuo: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
David Ivers: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Ivers took the lead after hitting a pair of aces. However, the {j-Clubs} on the turn gave Kuo a set of jacks and a lock on the hand. After counting the stacks, it was Kuo who was at risk for 176,000, leaving Ivers with just 9,000 chips after the hand.
