Pham Gets Away from It

Ellis made couldn't call quick enough, and it was clear why when he rolled over pocket aces. Yo was playing pocket tens and would need to hit to stay alive. The board of {3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} ran clean for the aces though, sending Yo to the rail in the last non-paying spot. All remaining players are now guaranteed at least $2,476.

Pham Survives on Bubble

Anh Pham opened the betting with a raise to 2,200 from the hijack, and he was called by the player on the button. On the {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop, Pham bet 22,000 and got a call.

When the turn came {k-Diamonds} Pham shoved all in for 140,000, sending his opponent into the tank.

"Ace-king?" he asked Pham, before open-mucking a pair of jacks. Pham showed the {a-Clubs} and nothing else as he mucked his hand.
