The {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop gave Chong some hope but he found no help on the {2-Hearts} turn nor the {10-Diamonds} river.

Saran Denied a Triple Up

Level 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Kartik Ved raised to 120,000 and Hwany Lee three-bet to 600,000 with a few chips behind on the button. [Removed:446] called all-in for 550,000 in the big blind and Ved called. Saran already exposed his {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and turned them over again when it was pointed out that Lee had chips behind.

The two active players checked to the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} river on which Ved check-folded to the shove by Lee for the last 75,000.

Lee showed his {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and won the small side pot while chopping the main pot with Saran.

Roller Coaster Exit for Sai

Level 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Benjamin Sai
Benjamin Sai

Benjamin Sai was all.in with a short-stack of 350,000 and tabled the {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Kartik Ved called in the big blind with the {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Sai got there on the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades} runout.

Ved then doubled back with a flip to leave Sai very short and in the small blind. Sai then got it in for fewer than two blinds and was called by Chi-Jen Chu.

Benjamin Sai: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Chi-Jen Chu: {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board left Sai drawing dead on the turn and he bumped fists with Chu and Ved before heading out of the tournament area.

Lim Scores a Fortunate Double

Level 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Chi Zhang raised to 120,000 with the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and then folded when Chung Chuen Co pushed all-in with a bigger stack in the small blind. Tzer Chiuan Lim called all-in out of the big blind.

Tzer Chiuan Lim: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Chung Chuen Co: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

A split pot seemed likely but the {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board gave Lim a winning flush.

Two Doubles on the Feature Table

Level 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

[Removed:446] pushed for 510,000 in the hijack with the {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Tzer Chiuan Lim called all-in for fewer than that with the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} in the cutoff. Thanks to a board of {k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds} board.

Saran then got a double of his own in slow-motion when he had most in preflop and then jammed the last 140,000 on the {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop.

[Removed:446]: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Victor Chong: {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The {5-Clubs} was a sweat but the {a-Hearts} river changed nothing.
