The winner of this very event at the 2022 Poker Dream Vietnam festival was dominated and found no help on the Q♥4♥2♠5♦J♣ runout, as Ewe was sent to the rail in third place.

Takashi Ogura limped in with the A♣5♦ and Gary Thompson checked his option with the A♥9♠ out of the big blind. The A♦8♦5♣ flop gave Ogura top and bottom pair for the Japanese to bet 350,000, earning a call from Thompson.

Following the 4♣ turn, Ogura bet another 900,000 and Thompson now pondered about his decision for a while to come along.

Fast forward to the 7♥ river, Ogura gave it a couple of seconds to prepare the third bet worth 1,100,000 and was paid off rather swiftly to cement his lead in three-handed play.
