The Final Table has gone from two Japanese players to none, with Kosei Ichinose hitting the rail and it was Hong Kong’s Danny Tang who was the man to send him there.
Down to hs last 575,000 in chips Ichinose moved these all-in from early position with and the action folded around to Tang in the big blind. With chips to spare and a pocket pair – – Tang made a swift call and Ichinose’s fate was in the hands of the poker gods.
Unfortunately, they were not feeling generous and the runout saw the field reduced to the final six. Tang stacked up to 6.2 million while Ichinose headed for the cash desk to collect the equivalent of ~$33,476.
