Tang Will Take the Folds

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Yue Feng Tang also played the High Roller two days ago and is now seated in the Main Event with a pretty healthy stack already.

The player in the lojack raised to 2,000 and was called by the player in the hijack. Yue Feng Tang was sitting in the small blind and decided to three-bet to 7,400. The lojack tanked for about three minutes and then called. The player in the hijack was a bit quicker and called after a few seconds when it was his turn.

The dealer spread out the {3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} on the flop and Tang threw in another 15,000 bet. The lojack hesitated but then opted to fold. The hijack did the same.

Yu Surprisingly Wins a Pot

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

The player in the under-the-gun position raised to 1,400 and was called by the player in early position, Jian Qiang Yu in the hijack, and Duan Chao in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, Chao bet 2,100 and was called by the under-the-gun player and Yu.

The turn brought them the {4-Clubs} on which they all checked through to the {2-Hearts} on the river. Chao checked. The initial raiser bet 6,000 without hesitating. Yu looked at him and called. Chao cut out calling chips and then decided to fold.

The under-the-gun player threw his cards into the muck. Yu yelped in surprise and showed the {4-Diamonds} and collected the pot.
