Lian Takes Two Out

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Everybody around Table #2 was standing up and the dealer was just dealing the turn and river and two players, including Quan Zhou left the table. Siqi Lian was the one that was over joyous and she had won the three-way all-in which went in on the {K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} flop.

Small blind: {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Quan Zhou (cutoff): {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Siqi Lian: {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The player in the small blind had two pair, Zhou had a flush draw, and Lian had flopped a straight.

The rest of the board was completed with the {10-Spades} on the turn which didn't change the situation and the {8-Clubs} on the river neither. A very relieved Lian sat back down and stacked up her newly earned chips to take her into the chip lead for Day 1c for now.

Lai Gets Paid All the Way

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

The player in the under-the-gun position limped in. Alan Arbos raised to 600 from mid-position and was called by the player in late position, Yee Lap Lai in the cutoff, and the initial limper.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and both the initial limper and Arbos checked. The player in late position bet 1,300 which Lai and the initial limper both called. Arbos folded.

The turn brought them the {3-Hearts}, the under-the-gun player checked again. The player in the late position continued with a bet of 4,500 and both Lai and the under-the-gun player called.

The river completed the board with the {Q-Diamonds}, both of Lai's opponents checked for the last time. Lai hesitated for a second and then put in a continuation-bet of 7,000. The under-the-gun player tanked for about two minutes. He looked at his cards once more and then called. The other opponent quickly folded.

Lai turned over {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the nut-flush, the only thing that could beat him was a full house. His opponent looked at Lai's cards, then his own, then at the board, and then mucked.
