The 29 Main Event players have returned from break and are back in action. We managed to get a few counts while they were off, so here's how the tournament landscape is shaping up:
2018 Poker King Cup Macau
Level: 23
Blinds: 10,000/20,000
Ante: 3,000
There have been no further eliminations, and the 29 remaining Main Event players have headed off on a ten-minute break.
When play returns, there will be a redraw when the field hits 27, and we will get some updated chip counts and the new seating draw up as soon as we receive it.
After his earlier misadventure against chip leader Jeho Lee, Yang Wang has been quiet and is getting short. The Chinese player moved all-in from under-the-gun for 201,000 but found no customers to take the blinds and antes.
Another player who managed to get a shove through was Mauro Francolini, who moved all-in for 239,000 in total from the button, over the top of a Liang Song 35,000 cutoff open. Song tanked long and hard, but Francolini gave nothing away and the Chinese player eventually mucked his cards to drop to 650,000 and leave Francolini to scoop the blinds and antes.
Over on the feature table we arrived in time to see Hong Kong's Steven Siu catch a much needed double up at the expense of Jie Sun, with the two players getting all the chips in pre-flop.

turn, giving Sun a backdoor flush draw, but the
river was a blank and saw Siu lock in the double, climbing to 400,000, while Sunn dropped to 100,000.
Hong Kong's Chi Chung Ho has earned a double up at the expense of China's Qi Cheng Du, with all the chips going in pre-flop.

turn, the
river saved his tournament and saw him stack up 375,000 while Du dropped to 482,000.
Zhang Chao's Main Event is over, with recent arrival at her table, Xiao Tian Yang, the man to send her to the rail. It was a battle of the blinds between the pair, with all the chips going in pre-flop.

runout, meaning Yang's tens were good and Chao's time was up. Chao headed for the exit while Yang stacked up to 1.1 million.
Both Italy's Mauro Francolini and Spain's Diego Sarmiento are left in the running, adding some international flair to a field full of players from the Asia-Pacific region. Francolini is sitting on a stack of 350,000 presently, and Sarmiento now has more chips with which to attempt his Main Event victory, courtesy of tablemate Jian Han.
It was a battle of the blinds, with Sarmiento moving all-in for close to 240,000 or so from the small blind and the action was on Han in the big blind. The Chinese player did not take long to announce the call and the cards were revealed.

"I don't know if I can win on this flop..." said Sarmiento pessimistically, getting to his feet. The Spaniard needn't have worried though, with the
turn and
bricking out to grant him a much-needed double and he climbed to 500,000, while Han dropped to 640,000.

China's Zhang Chao had been quiet as of late as one of the shorter stacks. However, we caught her in action in a hand against fellow countryman Qi Luo that cost the latter his tournament life, and gave Chao some new chips with which to assault the leaderboard with.
Down to her last 160,000 or so, Chao moved all-in from under-the-gun and the action folded around to Luo on the cutoff, who quickly announced the call for his tournament life. The rest of the table got out of the way and the cards were turned over.

turn saw Chao's flush come straight in, which she celebrated with an excited squeal, while Luo gave a disgusted huff and, now drawing dead, got to his feet and began packing up his stuff.
The meaningless
river saw the pot shipped Chao's way and she climbed to 260,000 while Luo headed off to the cash desk to collect his winnings.
Several more players have hit the rail, and Ka Kiu Fung, Xin Wu, Po Fai Lau, Shu Hao Xu have all hit the rail.
