Short Delay

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The break has been extended a bit as tournament staff balances tables and switches out the feature table.

In the meantime, a few players took advantage of the re-entry option in Daniel Negreanu, Adrian Mateos, and Rainer Kempe. In addition, Daniel Cates jumped into the field literally in the last minute.

Mateos: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Rast: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Mateos was well out in front, and that's right where he stayed after the board ran out a safe {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Matt Hyman Flips for His Tournament Life

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Matt Hyman during the WSOP

Matt Hyman moved all in for 38,500 from the hijack and Stefan Schillhabel called him from the small blind.

Hyman: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Schillhabel: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

It was a flip, but not after the flop came down {2-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} to give Schillhabel a set. The {8-Diamonds} turn left Hyman drawing dead, and he exited the poker room after the {7-Spades} was run out on the river.
