Action folded around to Justin Bonomo on the button and he raised to 4,000. Christian Christner responded by three-betting to 17,500 from the small blind and Bonomo just called to see the flop.
Christner bet 35,000, and Bonomo called off for his remaining 34,000.

Bonomo got it in good, and he was looking to hold to ship the double. The turn was safe, but the river was not. Christner paired his queen and Bonomo was sent to the rail.
Sergio Aido raised to 5,000 under the gun and action folded all the way around to Phil Hellmuth, who called from the big blind.
Hellmuth then check-called a bet of 3,000 on the flop before both players checked the turn. Action repeated itself on the river and Hellmuth declared, "Ten."

Fedor Holz, who opted to re-enter this tournament, raised to 4,000 under the gun and Keith Lehr called from the cutoff. Jason Koon came along from the small blind, Koray Aldemir did the same from the big, and it was four-way action to the flop.
All four players checked and then action repeated itself on both the turn and river.
Koon showed the , Aldemir the , and Holz the for a pair of fives. Lehr mucked and Holz was pushed the pot.

It was a bad spot for Hyman as Katz had flopped top pair with a better diamond draw. The turn gave Katz the nut flush, and Hyman had no recourse but to exit the tournament area after the meaningless was run out on the river.
