Eibinger Busts Ligeri in Huge Pot

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Justin Ligeri
Justin Ligeri

Tom Marchese had 175,000 in front of him on the button, having been called by Justin Ligeri under the gun. In the cutoff, though, Matthias Eibinger had moved all in. Marchese let his hand go after some thought, and Ligeri announced a call, jokingly asking if Eibinger wanted to run twice.

It was indeed a flip, Eibinger's {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} against {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. The dealer spread a {2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} flop that left Ligeri all but toasted.

"It's over," he sighed.

Not quite, but the {a-Spades} turn did end it. The meaningless river was a {10-Diamonds} and Ligeri exited. Marchese said he had ace-king as well.

Berg Wakes Up With Blades, Busts Negreanu

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

David Eldridge opened to 28,000 under the gun and Daniel Negreanu shipped from the next seat for 201,000. Eli Berg shoved himself in the next seat for around 260,000 and everyone else folded.

Negreanu: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Berg: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Negreanu was disappointed to see how awful of shape he was in, and the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} changed little. He had a shot on the {10-Diamonds} turn but the river was the {5-Hearts}.

Boeree and Eldridge Find Chop in the Blinds

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Liv Boeree limped the small blind and David Eldridge checked the big.

The flop landed {3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Boeree checked to Eldridge who bet 16,000. Boeree called, and then checked the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn.

Eldridge bet 30,000, and Boeree called as the river landed the {3-Spades}.

Boeree checked, Eldridge bet what appeared to be 72,000, and Boeree quickly called.

Boeree tabled her {Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}, and Eldridge his {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}, and the pot was chopped up.

Katz Doubles Through Soverel

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Sam Soverel limped the cutoff and Jake Schindler completed from the small blind. From the big blind, Cary Katz moved all in for 76,000, and Soverel called as Schindler folded.

Soverel: {Q-}{10-}
Katz: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The flop brought a king, and when no further help came for Soverel, Katz scooped in the double.

Two Pair for Eldridge

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Ali Imsirovic opened to 25,000 in the cutoff and David Eldridge defended his big blind.

Both players checked the {10-Spades}{A-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop as the {3-Hearts} landed on the turn and Eldridge bet out 30,000.

Imsirovic called, and when the {Q-Diamonds} fell on the river, he called an Eldridge bet of 50,000.

Eldridge tabled his {10-Clubs}{8-Spades} for two pair, and Imsirovic mucked.
