Green Forces Young to Add-On

Level 2 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}, Justin Young was all in for his last 63,000 against Brian Green.

Young: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Green: {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The turn and river landed the {9-Hearts} and {6-Diamonds} and Young immediately tossed in his add-on plaque looking for his second 100,000-chip bullet.

Patgorski Doubles Through Young

Level 2 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Three players checked to Gabe Patgorski on the button, and he moved in for 76,000 on {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. From under the gun, Justin Young reshoved and the others folded, with Brian Green using a time extension and later saying he mucked {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

Patgorski: {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Young: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The river was the {10-Spades} and Patgorski's kings up were good for a double.

Eldridge and Green Battle

Level 2 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

On a board of {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}, Brian Green got his 96,000 in and was called by David Eldridge.

Green: {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Eldridge: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The river was the {9-Diamonds}, preserving the two pair held by Green for a double.

The next hand, Eldridge got some back with a big river bet that chased Green away. The latter is on his final 100,000 shell, while Eldridge still has two in reserve.

Ligeri Forces Bonomo to Add On

Level 2 : 0/0, 1,000 ante
Justin Ligeri
Justin Ligeri

Justin Ligeri opened for 6,000 first to act and Justin Bonomo moved all in for 85,000 in the cutoff. Ligeri slid in calling chips after some thought.

Bonomo: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Ligeri: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Ligeri nailed a set on the {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} runout, fading the backdoor chop outs. Bonomo used his first add-on and Ligeri got an equities lesson after the hand as they discussed his call. He asked if Bonomo was a favorite and everyone affirmed he was.

"There's no hand that doesn't have you dominated preflop," Cary Katz said.

Robl and Aldemir Chop

Level 2 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Koray Aldemir raised to 11,000 in the cutoff and Andrew Robl called on the button.

Aldemir checked the {9-Clubs}{A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop as Robl bet 9,000. Aldemir check-raised to 60,000, and Robl put Aldemir in for his 64,000 total and the German obliged with a call.

Aldemir: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Robl: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The turn and river fell the {K-Diamonds} and {7-} and the pot was chopped up.

Experimenting With Raise Sizes

Level 2 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Justin Ligeri raised over some limps to 20,000 on the button and won the pot.

The next hand, he made it 15,000 and everyone folded once more.

"I'm going to try different raises until I get some action," he said with a laugh.

A few hands later, Justin Bonomo made it 10,000 to go and Ligeri called. On the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop, Ligeri check-folded to a continuation-bet.

It seems maybe 10,000 is the threshold for action at that table, at least for these few hands.
