Today sees the last two of the four entry flights for the Main Event here at Club Marconi. Players today will be looking to join the 52 who have already moved through Day 1, all aiming to get the largest piece of what will be a prize pool of well over the estimated $250,000.
Day 1C starts at noon with the same structure as Day 1A & 1B, ten levels of 45 minutes each, while the turbo Day 1D flight starting at 6 p.m will be the last chance to qualify for Day 2 via a Day 1 flight. Again, there is one re-entry allowed per flight.
Late registration for the Main Event will close after the end of the second level of Day 2, which will have very comfortable levels of 60 minutes each.
Blinds in Day 1C will begin today at 100/100, with antes coming into play at level 3.

In a pot which had a few limpers, the flop came and Marc Liddell in the small blind bet 400. Abdul "KB" Raffie raised to 1,000 and Liddell called.
The turn was and Liddell checked, Raffie bet 1,000 and Liddell called.
Both players then checked the river , with Raffie showing for a flopped two pairs and he took down the pot.

On a board of , Kyle Greenway, a satellite winner, bet 14,500 on the river into an already large pot and Marc Seymour reluctantly tossed a chip in to make the call. Greenway turned over for a rivered full house and Seymour was left to rue the river, being ahead all the way.

Francesco Riservato went all-in on a flop of versus the pocket jacks, no clubs, of Stylianous Markriou.
The board ran out which was no help to Markriou and Riservato doubled up.
