Welcome to Day 2 of the $1150 Main Event at The Poker Palace

Day 2 of the $1150 Main Event gets underway shortly, and with 312 entrants so far, the prize pool will be over a massive $300,000. The day will start with 100 qualifiers from the four earlier Day 1โ€™s, and will be added to with some late registrations, which is open until the end of the second level today.

The chip leaders that everyone will be chasing coming into the day are Dean Boskovic Sr (426,500), Emran Abu (412,500), John Sormi (356,000), and Marco Peri (350,500). At the other end of the scale, over 20 players will start with less than half the average chip stack (156,000) and will be looking to grind their way into the final day tomorrow.

Other players in the field to watch include Joe Antar, winner of the recent High Roller last Dec who also has a 3rd in the 2019 Sydney Champs under his belt, Jarrod Thatcher runner-up in the High Roller event this series, and Australian Poker Hall of Famer Grant Levy, who can never be underestimated.

Blind durations will now be a very comfortable 60 minutes, re-starting at 1,000/2,000/2,000 and there will be 10 levels today, or down to the final table.
