"This is Not Something to be Proud Of"

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ruurd Nauta
Ruurd Nauta

The banter has been fun between Ruurd Nauta and Kate Scisel the entire day and the two just got tangled in a pot where Scisel was at risk of hitting the rail.

Nauta opened from early position for 6,000 before Scisel three-bet to 15,000 from the button. Nauta jammed and Scisel called off for 59,000.

Kate Scisel: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Ruurd Nauta: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

"Good luck," Nauta said as he stood up from the table.

Scisel got all the luck she needed as the {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} flop gave her a flush. The {3-Diamonds} turn and {5-Diamonds} river completed the board for Scisel to crack Nuata's rockets to stay alive.

"This is not something to be proud of," said Scisel. "But we are still friends."

Nut Flush for Bednar to Oust Langer

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Simon Langer bet 13,500 into a pot of around 35,000 on the {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Spades} board on the turn and Vladimir Bednar called. The {q-Spades} river put all spades on the board and Langer fired out for 28,500. Bednar jammed for heaps and Langer went into the tank before he eventually called off for more than 100,000.

Langer showed {k-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a king-high flush but was eliminated by Bednar who held {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for the nut flush.

Bajmoczi Runs Fives into Sevens

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Grzegorz opened for 4,400 from under the gun before he called a three-bet jam by Milan Bajmoczi from the button.

Milan Bajmoczi: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Grzegorz Kozieja: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Bajmoczi was already out of his seat before the {8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop came on the board. He then left the table as he was out of chips after the {2-Diamonds} turn and {a-Clubs} river didn't help his fives beat sevens.
