Second Bullet for Sontheimer

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Steffen Sontheimer opened the button for 1,800 and was called by the players in the blinds. The players in the blinds checked. Sontheimer bet 1,600 on the {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop. Jakob Pieter Kerkoff called from the small blind before the player in the big blind folded.

Kerkhoff checked the {9-Hearts} turn and Sontheimer bet about 5,400. Kerkoff jammed and Sontheimer called off the crumbs that were still in his stack.

Steffen Sontheimer: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}
Jakob Pieter Kerkhoff: {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Sontheimer was ahead with his two pair but the {10-Spades} spiked the river to give Kerkhoff a better two pair. Sontheimer re-entered after the hand.

Meanwhile, Rainer Kempe also just got into the action for the first time.

Langer Busts Halo

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

Peter Halo just hit the rail and Simon Langer recapped the action of the hand for PokerNews. The hand began with Halo three-bet jamming for about 13,500 and getting called by Langer.

Peter Halo: {j-}{j-}
Simon Langer: {k-}{q-}

Langer's queen paired up on the {q-}{10-}{8-} flop and Halo was eliminated after blanks came on the turn and river.

Rockets for Jurga

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

Filip Jurga bet 18,000 into a pot of around 40,000 with the {8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades} on the board. Sava Krink went into the tank before she called.

Both players checked the {8-Hearts} river. Jurga turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and won the hand after Krink folded.

Zapadlo Doubles with Broadway

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

Leo Worthington-Leese bet 10,000 into a pot of around 25,000 with the {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{q-Hearts} on the board after the turn. Pavel Zapadlo jammed for 39,200 and Kristoffer Braathen folded. Worthington-Leese went into the tank for about two minutes before he found a call.

Pavel Zapadlo: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Leo Worthington-Leese: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Zapadlo had Broadway and the best Worthington-Leese could hope for was a chop. The {a-Hearts} river didn't help Worthington-Leese and Zapadlo doubled with the nuts on the board.

"Kings are Good"

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

Vivian Leslie opened for 2,800 from the lojack and was called by Alexander Nietsch from the hijack and Luka Bojovic from the big blind.

Bojovic checked the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop before Leslie bet 8,000. Nietsch called and Bojovic folded. Leslie led out for 10,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn and Nietsch called. Both players checked the {9-Clubs} river and Leslie turned over {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

"Kings are good," said Nietsch as he tossed his hand into the muck.
