The €5,000 High Roller has kicked off with Fedor Holz, Rainer Kempe, Mario Mosbock, Stefan Peukert, and Kate Scisel in the field. Pokercode will be live streaming the action with hole cards shown on a 30-minute delay.
Pavel Chalupka opened for 12,000 from early position. Fedor Holz called off his stack of 10,000 chips from the lojack. Navid Eskandari called from the cutoff and Carlos Chang did the same from the big blind.
The flop was checked around before two players checked the turn. Eskandari bet 15,000. Chang called and Chalupka folded.
The completed the board on the river. Chang jammed for more than 80,000 and Eskandari called.
Chang instantly turned over for a wheel. Both Eskandari with and Holz with couldn't believe the runout as they both lost the hand despite hitting two pair. For Holz, it was the end of the line, while Eskandari still had a chance to run it up with a few chips in his stack.
Navid Eskandari limped early position and another player limped behind before Kate Scisel raised to 12,000 from the big blind. Eskandfari three-bet jammed for 98,000 and Scisel snap-called after the other player in the hand folded.
Navid Eskandari:
Kate Scisel:
The board gave Eskandari a flush and Scisel was in complete disbelief.
She immediately got up and ran for the cashier to re-enter only to be called back with crumbs still in her stack. Scisel confirmed with the tournament director that she could surrender her stack and she got back into the action with 50,000 in chips to start Level 13.
