Huge Bad Beat for Scisel at the End of Level 12

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Kate Scisel
Kate Scisel

Navid Eskandari limped early position and another player limped behind before Kate Scisel raised to 12,000 from the big blind. Eskandfari three-bet jammed for 98,000 and Scisel snap-called after the other player in the hand folded.

Navid Eskandari: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Kate Scisel: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts} board gave Eskandari a flush and Scisel was in complete disbelief.

She immediately got up and ran for the cashier to re-enter only to be called back with crumbs still in her stack. Scisel confirmed with the tournament director that she could surrender her stack and she got back into the action with 50,000 in chips to start Level 13.

Baier Outs Craatz

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Alexander Baier
Alexander Baier

Stefan Craatz jammed for 38,000 from the cutoff and was called by Alexander Baier from the big blind.

Stefan Craatz: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Alexander Baier: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Craatz bricked the {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{a-Hearts} board to hit the rail and Baier stacked up to nearly 600,000 in chips after the hand.

Schulze Takes One Off Bernhauser

Sebastian Schulze tanked for a couple of minutes before he raised to 125,000 with around 50,000 left in his stack. Bernhauser paused for about 30 seconds before he made the fold and the dealer awarded Schulze a healthy pot.
