The hotbed of high-stakes poker activity continues at the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort and Casino with the stakes doubling from $25,000 to $50,000 for the PokerGO Cup Event #7: $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em.

The event attracted 35 entries to create a $1,750,000 prize pool, nearly double the previous record of a $900,000 prize pool featured in both the PokerGO Cup Event #5: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em and the PokerGO Cup Event #6: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em.

Ali Imsirovic once again finds himself in a familiar spot as the overnight chip leader at Tuesday's five-player official final table with 1,835,000 in chips for nearly double that of Event #1 champion Alex Foxen with 1,010,000 in chips.

The Bosnian poker sensation has done it time and time again this year with his eight victories giving him a solid hold on the 2021 PokerGO Tour Leaderboard. Earlier this festival, Imsirovic also bagged the overnight chip lead in Event #2 and Event #4 and went on to win them both. He hopes to repeat the same pattern tonight to win his third PokerGO Cup event and pad his lead on the PokerGO Cup Leaderboard.

Meanwhile, GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu is in the middle of the pack with 975,000 in chips with Sergi Reixach just behind with 755,000 in chips. David Coleman continues to impress and will aim to spin up his short stack of 675,000.
